Dubeau Family Farm is a family owned and operated farm, just north of the Settlement of Perkinsfield, in Tiny Township, Ontario. Owners Kim and Dennis Dubeau, along with their sons, Aaron and Jason, started working this 50 acre farm in April 2000.
Dennis, a proud third generation farmer, carries on his love of farming and commitment to sustainable growing practices. Through soil management, crop rotation, and enriching organic material, Dubeau Family Farm is committed to providing the best growing conditions for all the produce they sell.
Did you know…..?
One of the best ways to amend and add nutrients to the soil is rye grass. Planted in the Fall and tilled under in the Spring, Rye helps prevent topsoil from eroding and blowing away in the Winter and once tilled under in the Spring, boosts the soil with an organic powerhouse of nutrients. In the agriculture industry, this practice is often referred to as “Green Manure” and it is just another way Dubeau Family Farm practices farm sustainability!
